We originally booked High Adventure Air for a fly out fishing trip to catch some sockeye salmon. We later read that there might be a chance to get a glimpse of a majestic brown bear. Great! Two birds, one stone. Well, I wish it was that easy. High Adventure is located on Longmere Lake just off of the Sterling Highway... More

Well Thank You for taking the time to review our adventure across the Inlet. We appreciate your kind words and feel as if all our clients are friends once we take them fishing, so you're tagged as a friend now. I wish I knew who your guide and pilot were. It's very encouraging to them that they're doing a good... More

Our Pilot was Mark and our Guide was Drew. Fishing started off slow but Drew made some adjustments and the silvers started hitting like Babe Ruth. Mark's skills piloting the 1950 prop plane are second to none! I will definitely go back and request these guys. Trip of a lifetime!

Thank you for the compliments. Mark and Drew are exceptional in our eyes and good to know that our guides do whatever they can to get you on the fish. Though we had a real weak year this season for salmon (statewide) and the temperatures seemed to send the bears to shade, we did have a great season. Hope you... More

We were looking for a fun bear viewing adventure. We're promised a bear trip and switched to a fishing trip. For $459 with a bring your own lunch we were told that we would have to sit on the shore and wait while the fishermen caught their limit. THEN WE COULD GO LOOKING FOR BEAR. This did not suit our... Madalyn, I remember you three ladies and can say that we made every effort to have you do this tour as was booked. We had you scheduled originally and confirmed and paid in full for a designated date. Then you called and cancelled that day and said it wouldn't work for you. So, the conversation went that you were going... More

What an awesome company. My wife and I had a great trip with these folks. Randy our Pilot was great Jeremy put us on the fish. When 8 other boats were getting very few fish, Jeremy had the "Secret Sauce". Picked up some really nice Silvers and my wife enjoyed the trip as well. Highly recommend these folks if you... More

Our pilot was Greg he was very professional and got us in and out safely. Our guide was Ben we had a great time. Fishing was slow but we found fish that were willing to play. Great time looking forward to doing it again.

We are tickled pink that you had a great time. That's our goal. Though the fish were being some kind of stubborn on some days, most had a pleasant flight and a great guide to entertain them. You hit the jackpot with Greg and Ben! (All our guides are FANTASTIC) Do come see us again. Susan More

We were originally scheduled to arrive at 8am, but with weather we were rescheduled to 1pm. What a great day for all ages. We lifted off the lake in a float plane, flew over a glacier- the views are outstanding, then landed in the Cook inlet for salmon fishing and bear viewing. We all caught salmon, our guide Big Ben... I am so happy that you enjoyed the adventure to Wolverine Creek/Big River Lake. This is a very popular location during peak season because of the outstanding fishing and the historically great bear viewing. Seems the heat made them tuck and cover early this season.
