I will say this is a place that is neat to walk to while in Tianjin. This really is one of the top ten places to see while in Tianjin not only because of the house but because of the neighbourhood full of restaurants and local shops. For a small fee you can tour the house that has good views... More

This house is utterly absurd and a sight to behold – but there's no need to pay RMB 50 to go inside. There are some dusty old rooms with 'antique' furnture and little else. And don't expect any info on the 'why' or the 'how' of this place. However, I can safely that this is the best porcelain covered European... More

A four-storey house with bits of porcelain stuck into every crevice, including - I believe - the longest porcelain 'dragon' in the world. Wow! It would have been a complete waste of half an hour of my life were it not for the fact that the house also contains a random collection of wardrobes, cupboards, sideboards, etc dating back more... I can't believe i entered that place on my own. one of the most horrific places to visit. everything is dusted, run-down and just ruined. looks like they are taking money, but doing nothing in order to keep this place clean or at least in a safe condition.

This is quite a quirky little attraction in Tianjin. Not really worth seeking out but good to have a look of you stumble upon it. The whole house is made of pieces of porcelain so you can take some okay photos here.

We Actually went in because we had time and we were attracted from outer view. You will be little disappointed. If u don't want time don't go.

the exterior is composed of broken porcelain from different periods of chinese dynasties. according to the guide, lots and lots of ming dynasty porcelain was used to cover the surfaces. inside there is a plethora of furniture and other household items. all the pieces have a function and a particular style. at the exit you can buy some items as... It is a must to see if you visit Tianjin. Architect is very unique. Great art work. All is made from porcelain. Entrance fee is 50 RMB and it really worth it.

Interesting, but a bit of a tourist trap. Way too crowded. No explanations to anything. Piles of old furniture everywhere, not sure the purpose of it... Needs some maintenance, as it was unkept and dirty.
