Sighisoara is a pretty citadel and the surrounding scenery is nothing to ignore either, so where better to get a good view of it all than the clock tower? You can see the inner workings of the clock as well on the way up. Don't bother with the museum - it's not very interesting and photos cost extra.

A step back in time, this clock tower stands proud. Inside are artifacts on each level accessible by steep stair cases. The view from the top is worth it

The clock tower is the main attraction in Sighisoara , very interesting but unfortunately the museum in an urgent need of restoration. Once you arrive at the top you will discover the magnificent view .

One of many attractions in UNESCO accredited Sighisoara. Travel up the Clock Tower through the History Museum to the top for splendid views of historical Sighisoara Citadel & Town below. Recommended.

The clock tower location is behind the main square of the town Sighisoara. It was built in the 16th century, its height is 60 meters. You can climb to the top of the tower with the narrow steps, some wood and some are made of stone. Within the tower, there are several floors where there is a museum of city... More

Next to the home of where Vlad the Impaler was born, climbing the clock tower will give you a great view of the historic city of Sighisoara. The entire area is historically charming and the people are very friendly. Beware darkness, as it is believed that Vlad still roams the night looking for more victims to impale.

U cannot miss this if u are in the UNESCO heritage city of sighisoara where vlad tries is born in. The clock tower is just a stone throw away from the house where vlad is born. Still majestic and hidden behind the main square. You have to go up the tower. It cost 14 lei to go up. Along the... More
