A group of 14 of us took a great boat ride, past turtle beach to the tombs and Dalyan. The trip was great, thoroughly recommend it, however, if your boat lingers, just behind turtle beach you are likely to be accosted by a chap, in a neighbouring boat, explaining how, the crabs they catch, are cooked and prepared for eating.... We took the Dolmus down to Iztuzu Beach, as this is the end of the beach that has the Turtle hospital. Nice drive through beautiful Turkish countryside, breathtaking views as we descended down to the beach. The main object of this trip was not really the beach but to visit Kaptan Jane's turtle hospital. Our guide was a university student... More

I really cannot put into words the magic and presence of this place, timeless fish traps and the workers who use them, a surrounding geology to die for, an amazing variety of co-located habitats and species, topped with the measureless Iztuzu beach, really one of the wonders of the world.

Pleasant boat trip around the waterway. Lots of bird life and dragon flies to be seen. Saw a number of turtles both in the water and on the rocky banks. They can be difficult to photograph.

You'll see great unspoiled scenery and bird life, and we saw 1 turtle in early April briefly. The beach cafe was open and you pay about 3 TL on arrival. The boats to the beach seem to have an official price of 180TL for a private trip to the beach including a few hours at the beach, but you can... More

fabulous place to visit, after a nice leisurely boat taxi ride down the river from Dalyan town, if you are lucky, you will see one of the huge turtles in the lagoon, behind the beach, well worth a visit.

As part of a trip to the Turtle Hospital, mud Baths and Turtle Beach, we cruised from down the river from Dalyan to see the Tombs and on to the Beach where the turtles lay their eggs. Just beautiful about sums it up, there's no shade at all, take sunscreen and plenty of water!

Dr. Hayrettin Ersan, who has his practise in Dalyan, is a very professional dentist. In the past few years I had several treatments of him, which he took care off very accurate. Whithin a short time he accomplished a very good job by doing my treatments properly in which he uses modern techniques. Besides his professional way of working, he... More
