We stopped here briefly to view this mosque as the oldest in the UAE. It is right on a main road, and worth stopping to view. It is very small inside, and is very popular with locals and tourists. The property has other buildings including a look out tower above. Remember when stepping inside to be dressed appropriately.

Tiny mosque on the coast road between Al Aqah & Fujairah. You need appropriate clothes to be able to enter inside. If not, you can stay outside and climb the stairs up to the top to get a nice viewpoint on the sea & hinterland. Avoid hot season as there is no wind there, and it's difficult to climb stairs... Doesnt take long to visit but worth seeing if you are in and around Fujairah area of UAE. This is the UAE's oldest Mosque which is interesting. There is a dress code to go in there. Nice to see something different around the UAE than the usual shopping malls etc.

Visited this place before - its a hidden treasure in the UAE. Definitley worth a visit when in Fujairah... Its located quite far from Fujairah city... about 40 minutes drive along the coast.... but probably worth the drive.

The Al Bidya Mosque in Fujairah is small and very old - the oldest in all the Emirates. It is worth the trip to see it (it's near the coastal road that links the city of Fujairah to Dibba) not just for its age and simplicity but because of the architectural design. Built of mud and bricks it consists of... More

Interesting. Won't take long to visit as small and nothing else to see. But nice nevertheless. There is a dresscod3 but they give you clothes if you don't meet the standard.

At 570 years old, this is the oldest mosque in the UAE. It's small (worth a 30-minute stop over), and has a fort standing above it with a great panoramic view of the mountains and the sea. It's a symbol of modesty, of old desert architecture, and of Islamic history. The staff is very friendly and offers clothing to both... More

Nice place to visit along the east coast, between Snoopy Island and Khor Fakkan. The Oldest mosque in the UAE is definitely worth stopping by, it is so different than all the mosques in the rest of the country. At the top of the hill, a very short hike will lead you to 2 little forts so also worth checking... More

This Mosque is sitauted roughly 45 minutes drive from Fujairah Both Men and women are allowed inside and you have... More

This is the oldest mosque in the UAE. Not really much to see and very small and only holds 20 people but there's no visitors allowed inside. The majority the time most women spend in line waiting to get in the restroom. Couple small watchtowers there. But just not much just a side stop at on the road.
