riding camels through the dessert and having dinner in a giant tent and you must try the camels cheese as it is out of this world.

It is beautiful because it is so untouched. Very good for diving and snorkeling.

the area is sadly neglected and full of water bottles along the coastline. The water had poor visibility and entry is iffy so bring rock shoes to wear beneath fins. Need to be a strong confident swimmer didnt enjoy...little bird life..stagnant pools inland...but lots of...More

Would recommend this to everyone - a peaceful experience and beautiful scenery! Camel riding is an interesting experience too!

this is one in a lifetime experience to make... you definitely have to try it... went for a half day trip into the Wadi Gemal desert and saw how the Bedouin live.. what they eat and drink ecc... it was a trip organized with Alpitour...More

We enjoyed this trip a bit scary on the camels but you can ride on the wagon if you want to. I enjoyed the camel cheese and the hot sand bread, the day was very interesting good food good company and very organised.

Hello, usually you contact to the recieption and ask them about Wadi El Gemal / Satayah tour, normally cost 500le/person include transfer. PortGaleb far about 2hours to Wadi El Gemal. Have a nice vacation

You can get there by air-plane or go-bus. There are 10's of choices for places to stay close to Wadi El-Gemal. You can also seek help from Abu Dabbab Group (search for them on facebook) for organizing full or day trips.
