Beth is the sweetest woman on the planet! Genuinely interested in her guests. And ready to share the incredible story of how her and her husband began this venture because there was no Visitor Center in Tok at the time. She is so hospitable and kind! There are novelty displays such as doll collections and outhouses. But there is also a lot of iconic Alaska history here. She has great stories and great treasures to share. Beth is a treasure herself!

There isn’t much to see or do in Tok so we took our 2 year old here for the afternoon. The entrance fee was reasonable. It appears the owners started collecting’stuff’ years ago and what better to do with it than display it! The husband died some time ago and the wife is carrying on the operation. She has to be the sweetest and nicest person in all of Alaska.

My wife and I enjoyed looking at everything but our 2 year old was bored after the Skee ball and moon bounce.

What a fun outdoor museum of Alaska. There were so many items from the past with short, well written descriptions. It’s a very quirky museum that was put together with love.

What a great stop in a long highway! An disjointed collection of fun, nostalgia and information. From MASH 4077 tent to doll collections to heavy equipment to Santa’s rocket to skee ball. Many laughs and tidbits of info about Alaska. Don’t miss the outhouse collection. Most of all the owner, Beth, is a treat. Genuine and generous, we left with smiles on our faces and a baggie full of penny candy.

A very Alaskan experience! Some won't get it, some will love it! If you're in Tok, Alaska, shouldn't be missed. A nice walk through history trek that has something for everyone.

This is a trek out of the way; but well worth the history lessons. The owners who collected all bits and pieces of Alaska history have passed away. Their family now has the site open in summer season. Check for dates.

The older lady at the front desk was very pleasant. Lots of interesting collectibles. My grandson, age 12, really enjoyed the bouncy house, mini golf and ball throwing arcade. I liked the doll collections, wood cutouts you can put your face in and the funny tombstones. We both enjoyed watching the squirrel play on the wheel in his house.

This could be just for kids or for adults enjoying a trip to the past. It is an eclectic collection of trucks, machinery, and games from the past. At the candy store I was given cotton candy. I had not eaten cotton candy since I was young. It was better then I remembered and just a messy to eat.
At the entrance/exit are old skeeball machines. They gave us free tokens to play. Then let us pick out some penny candy. This was a trip back to my past. I thanked the owner and she gave me a big hug.
Well worth the $7 it cost for two of us.

This is a site for the curious and those with a sense of fun. The elderly couple who run it couldn't be more delightful, if a little eccentric - and that's never a bad thing. We played games, won sweets (candy) and saw a variety of exhibits, from the informative to the fun and downright weird. There are several rooms of dolls, which could be a bit disturbing but Santa's bus is a hoot, as are the photo cut-outs. Best thing to do in Tok.

Don't miss it! Really! It's the strangest, most unique place you'll see in the area. When we first walked in and spoke with one of the owners, it was like a blast from the past, Look up. The ceiling is covered with cereal boxes, play a round of skee ball, walk through the yard and you'll be amazed at the treasures this couple has saved and is sharing with the world. You can only smile as you walk around. Don't miss it!
