We honestly booked this cabin because it's all we could find for memorial day weekend. We were very pleasantly surprised! Clean, comfy, and quiet, lovely nature trails, and a great central location for Jerome, old town cottonwood, Sedona, and more! We're already planning our next trip back and will definitely be staying at dead horse ranch!

A good place to go for fishing or picnic. Nice for a group picnic where a large gathering can spread out and enjoy games and friendship. Pavilions for shade and eating. Good fishing if you use the right bait.

Friend and I started our hike in the park & hiked Tavasci swamp to Tuzigoot monument. Nice hike. There are also 3 small lakes for fishing in this state Park. Very peaceful. Great if you are looking to enjoy nature & Verde River abutts the park. It is close to town & conveniences but it doesn't feel like it. Also... More

Dead horse Ranch State park is an easy way to spend time by the river. There are a lot of camping spaces, but we were just there for the day. There are not any concessions, so bring your water and enjoy walking around the trails, kayaking or fishing. A very pleasant place to get in touch with nature. It is... More

We camped at the Raven Loop with about 81 people total. The bathrooms were clean with hot water, showers and electricity. Camp hosts were wonderful. Because it's a loop with a Ramada in the middle you get a clear view around you so kids could play and you could keep track of them. Park has lots of trails and an... More

So much to do here! Miles of hiking/biking/horse trails, fishing, birding, camping, picnicking, orienteering, and more. Just a couple miles out of town. Great place!

This national greenway provides continuous hours of wildlife delight, relaxation and comfort. We love the cabins and mesquite canopy for picnicking. Firewood is available from wonderful camp hosts and the bathrooms are sparkling clean. Tent camping sites are nice, too. And the lagoons are beautiful!

The trails are well maintained and enjoyed taking my dog on the trails with me. There are three different lagoons for fishing. The middle and the back lagoon are nice for an easy kayak outing.

If your visiting the Sedona area and want to get away from the commercial crazed hub which was very annoying to us this state park is a great staging spot. From tent camping to full hookups, showers and such it is a great campground. It is nice and quiet as no generators are allowed. There are some nice trails and... More

This is a beautiful State Park about 25 minutes south of Sedona, Arizona. They offer camping loops, three for rvs and one for tent camping. There is also a large group loop. Quail Loop is closest to the Verde River and has many large trees. Red Tailed Hawk and Cooper' s Hawk are up higher with a desert terrain and... More
