Just spent a pleasant Saturday touring the wineries in the Cottonwood area and Jerome. First stop was at the Alcantara winery. We went with the $15 reserve tasting and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wine. My favorite was the 2011 Rosso Tosca...More

We spent a couple days exploring the wineries in the area on our own. A very enjoyable experience,though be warned that it can get a bit expensive. We based ourselves in Cottonwood at the state park as we were towing a camper. Visited several wineries...More

The Verde Valley Wine Trail is off to a great start! Many businesses are Host to a Painted Barrels done by local Artists. People come in and "find" the barrels.
