Great little museum. A hidden treasure. Old friend used to be guide here and first time I went I was knocked over by the history; hidden and obvious. It's about trains, mines, labor, hardships and treasures. You will see things you can relate to present...More

This small museum has fantastic displays of life in the local area many years ago. There is an old classroom that transported me right back to the 1960's and an amazing model train room.

More than we bargained for, there`s much more than the rail road exhibit. Many displays and lots of history. The volunteers were a wealth of information. A must if you are in the area, big surprise.

Very enjoyable area museum with very friendly and informative volunteers. They ran the trains for us and told us the story of the area. Will be sure to go there again.

We spent a leisurely hour enjoying the displays and great historical pics. Being a retired teacher I especially enjoyed the original classroom. The train room is marvelous.... A result of hours of detail work! Be sure to visit!

It is definitely worth the donation to get in. It is a cute little piece of Cottonwood history. It give you a good idea about the history of the area and the nature of some of the strange building that you find around Cottonwood. The...More
