If you (or anyone in your family) loves rocks and gems this is the place for you. My husband and I meandered through Jim & Ellens for quite a while enjoying the unique rocks, minerals, crystals, gems and crafts. It was so much fun and in the end we walked out with several cool display pieces and one awesome memory!... More

If you read my stuff, then you know I'm about having fun on a cheap budget. Sedona is nice and a beautiful place, but if you want a bargin and selection, then the Cottonwood area is the place to go. The prices are way cheaper and it's a cool town, just a mother-in-law's throw (about 13 miles) from Sedona. A... More

Yes, Museum is a good description. Jim & Ellen were friendly & helpful ~ happy to be among their mega-collection of hundreds of varieties of rocks. So much to see in this huge space, all organized / labeled / arranged on shelves. A nice interesting stop on Main St. in Cottonwood.

I was turned onto this wonderful "gem" of a store by a friend, They have a HUGE selection of gems and minerals for all sorts of projects. They also have a great selection of finished jewelry. If your looking for a unique gift, I highly recommend stopping by.

My husband and I decided to stop in to look. It was really interesting. They have so many different rocks from all over the world. We were in there for over an hour. My husband even bought one to bring home.

I was looking for some stones/rocks as Sedona/cottonwood is known for having unique options. Ellen was extremely nice, showing me the different asiles to go to depending on which types of rocks I wanted (healing, pain reduction, etc.). I had some friends who wanted a few different rocks based on what they were supposed to help with. I ended up... More

This is a great big shop chuck full of anything that you never knew you wanted until you see it. Sculpture, turquise, large, small, all kinds of items. All supervised by Jim & Ellen, and their two cute dogs. A fun ambiance, a great place to peruse at leisure. And it's next door to a rum tasting room, and that's... More

We stopped in Old Town Cottonwood on our way back from Sedona, and this was the only shop that was open. But I made the most of the stop! I am a sucker for rocks. When I was a kid, I loved to collect rocks. I had a great collection, stored in an Empress jam container. It somehow stayed at... More
