This is a wonderful resource managed by Maricopa County parks, that includes areas for overnight camping, picnic spots, horse riding, mountain bike riding, and now has a junior BMX track. The other opportunity that is not advertised is shotgun hunting for doves and quail. Just...More

Had a wonderful picnic in the open with cactuses and plants and the desert! Good basic facilities provided - stone table and benches and BBQ pits provided. Clean restrooms with water filling stations and rubbish disposal bins. Great place to bond with nature all around...More

A great way to enjoy the desert. Mountain bikes needed, but great trails for every type of rider. Be sure to get a map from the visitor center.

Can't beat this for quick exercise away from traffic of city. 5 minutes from FH and has at least a dozen trails of varying difficulty and distance. Great for mountain biking and you don't have to be into stunt biking over boulders and obstacles. You...More
