Overview
More
Grand Canyon Resort Corporation is owned by the Hualapai Indian Tribe and is located in Peach Springs, Arizona. In 1988, the Hualapai Indian Tribe, which has occupied the land since 1883, established GCRC, welcoming millions of visitors each year to tour the area, including the nearby lodge, ranch, River Runners and Grand Canyon West. To further increase tourism in the area, the Grand Canyon Skywalk was built in 2007. The Skywalk is a glass, horseshoe-shaped bridge that enables visitors to walk beyond the canyon walls at Grand Canyon West, suspending them 4,000 feet above the riverbed and providing an unparalleled view of this natural wonder.

I would not recommend this. You are NOT allowed to take your camera, cell phone, purse...basically nothing...onto the Sky Walk. This is not mentioned anywhere on their website and we did not find out until we drove over 2 hours and read the sign...at the...More

Waiting for the helicopter to take us on-board was really worth! West rim heli option was what we took. Grand Canyon is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide and attains a depth of over a mile. The best way to view the entire...More

We're glad to hear you enjoyed your helicopter adventure at Grand Canyon West and Skywalk. You're right about it being a great option for seniors who are unable to hike or walk long distances. Thank you for visiting.

We drove from Las Vegas on a day trip, and therefore chose the west side because it is two hours closer. In retrospect, I would have rather driven the extra four hours. It is $50 per person to enter the area without access to the...More

Family (4adults; 5children 8-12) Adults had been to South rim in past and wanted different view of Grand Canyon. We were staying in Vegas and drove ~2.5 hours to site. We chose West not because of "marketing" for Skywalk" but because of promotion of "Indian...More

The tour does not go through any caves. However, you do see natural waterfalls, various scenic formations and you have a picnic stop along the Colorado River. It's a full day and a real "bucket list" experience.
