More
Grand Canyon Resort Corporation is owned by the Hualapai Indian Tribe and is located in Peach Springs, Arizona. In 1988, the Hualapai Indian Tribe, which has occupied the land since 1883, established GCRC, welcoming millions of visitors each year to tour the area, including the nearby lodge, ranch, River Runners and Grand Canyon West. To further increase tourism in the area, the Grand Canyon Skywalk was built in 2007. The Skywalk is a glass, horseshoe-shaped bridge that enables visitors to walk beyond the canyon walls at Grand Canyon West, suspending them 4,000 feet above the riverbed and providing an unparalleled view of this natural wonder.

We drove from Las Vegas via Hoover Dam and saw excellent scenery on the way including amazing rock formation and the Joshua tree forest. The Grand Canyon itself is majestic, awe inspiring and major bucket list tick even without the slightly underwhelming skywalk and the...More

On first arriving we were somewhat disappointed. We'd just spent two days in the eastern end of the Grand Canyon National Park and the entry cost and volume of tourists/busses/aircraft and helicopters in Grand Canyon West came as something as a shock. However, once we...More

Visit Quarterback Point - a mystic, religious and most amazing place on this planet. One minute you are watching helicopters descend into the Canyon, then moments later you are there by the edge all by yourself in silence. I prefer to go by land as...More

If you yake the helicopter tour down into the canyon...it is an amazing experience. The rest is very sub par. Skywalk is terrible, restaurant is medicore, restrictions in some points are ridiculous. BUT...the canyon is still gorgeous.
