Among several historic buildings and many, many churches in Grahamstown, this one is the centre piece of the town. Didn't get to go inside, but it's an amazing building to see from the outside anyway.

A good place to start any exploration of the city and although not as old as you might think this church offers the visitor an insight to Grahamstown which has seen a lot of history on its streets and surrounding area.

Attended the Eucharist on Sunday 17 September. Was thrilled to see simple Communion Table at the front and not too much traditional pomp. A good worship experience (although sermon was a wee bit too long!)

This is a charming cathedral in the center of a busy college and market town. It makes an excellent landmark for walks around Grahamstown

A church with a history which is second to none. So much character and nostalgia within the building , it makes you feel like you have gone back in time. A must visit for any visitors to Grahamstown.

The beautiful architecture, stained-glass windows and tranquillity is beautiful. Spend a bit of quiet time inside, away from the hustle and bustle of the streets and markets outside.

We were lucky enough to be there when a marimba band was rehearsing. The acoustics of the huge cathedral accentuated the rich sounds of the marimba. The cathedral and area have a rich history and many plaques attest to members who had died in various...More

I attended the Sunday church service on a visit to Grahamstown. The priest was very welcoming to all guests. As an Anglican I am familiar with the liturgy of the service, but was pleasantly surprised to sing some of the devotions in Shona. Interesting 😀...More
