We booked the 11h00 time slot and it took 2h30 to complete. Russel supplied the group with plenty of information wrt the area, fauna and flora. The boat cruise was very relaxing in a perfect setting. What a blast.

An incredible day out on the lagoon. Rent the little speedboat for three hours and cruise up slowly enjoying the towering green hills and Forrest type retrain. Stop on the sandy banks and make use of the braai areas or just have a picnic and swim in the warm water! Excellent day out for friends. Take a cooler box and... More

We enjoyed a river cruise and lunch on this boat and enjoyed the informative commentary. The beaches along the way are only accessible from the river and are lovely places for families to stop and enjoy a barbecue or swim. We saw two types of Kingfisher on the trip and found it very peaceful.

Never knew how beautiful and long this river is. Need to spend more time more often. We enjoyed the cruise and all the valuable information. Loved the fact that we could have our own drinks and snacks. A very nice swim and the fish nibbling at the toes is quite an experience.

We are avid birders, so for us this trip was a must. The guide was really knowledgeable, explaining all about the flora and fauna and rock formations. He made a point of stopping to show us birds, and we had the luck to see a giant kingfisher. It is well worth a visit. If you are getting off the boat... More

I just loved this trip up the Keurbooms River. Part of the Keurbooms reserve the forest is undisturbed and indigenous - fascinating trees, llanas and stratified rock. No vehicles allowed so this is one of the only ways to see it - and it just takes you out of the modern world and into nature. Our pilot and guide was... More

We took my parents to go on one of these ferries when they came down to visit and it was absolutely amazing!!! The guide is extremely informative and has a wide general knowledge. You can take your own drinks and snacks with you and it is a very social vibe. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area!!!

Take a trip up the Keurbooms river in this open ferry. You will see Sea Eagles flying overhead, colourful Knysna Lourie's (if you're lucky), Pied Kingfishers and Blue Kingfishers, and a variety of other birds. Take your swimming costume, because when you reach Whiskey Creek at the furthest point on the river, you will definitely want to go for a... More
