Our main problem was that we did not have enough time to enjoy it. It has a dramatic setting with amazing walks, that are not for the faint hearted, and beautiful views. Make sure you give yourselves several hours to do it justice.

We only walked the first loop for about 45 minutes. The views are very nice. The path leading back was partially quite steep, but the rocks at the side of the path helped to assist walking with the hands.

To make a long story, short. If you have between 2-5h to spare and you are in Plettenberg bay, there is just nothing better to do. Take enough water with you, and if you do the full hike, some snacks, and enjoy

The walk is very nice, a little challenging especially if you do the complete round for which you better be in very good shape !

Worth a couple of hours stroll. Picturesque, needs a degree Of fitness / mobility in parts as going over slippy ruged ground

There are a choice of 3 routes. We opted for the shorter one and it still took over an hour. Paths are rocky, sandy and steep in places. It gets busy so get there early. You pay to get into the reserve and SA has...More

The Roberg hike is not difficult at all, you would make it. I met two kids that were below 10 years who were having fun time walking Roberg

Recommended that you don't start long walk after 14.00 but this would not be critical in summer, and at low tide. Long walk is estimated at 31/2 - 4 hours. But don't underestimate the walk - see recent comments.
