A very exciting walk to the bridges (there are 3 of them). Rain and heavy wind made the trip more exiting than expected. But worth a visit.

R216 per couple to enter the Storm River part of the Tsitsikamma National Parl . The walk along the plastic boardwalk is well worth the effort. Stunning wave action especially at high tide.

Reached there before 12. Entry was 90 per person. Due to some road work there were delays. We didn't know that my friend had planned only half the walk, till the beach after the hanging bridge, for us. But somehow we were not to much...More

It takes a while, don't rush the walk as it's stunning along the way and when the bridge comes into sight it's dramatic. We went on a windy day and the sea was magnificent!

Of course everything is nice. The short hike on a wooden/plastic walkway (which is easy for hikers and might be considered challenging by non-hikers only), the suspended bridge, the views, the river itself. We found the enthusiasm in all the other postings a bit exagerated...More

The suspension bridge and environment was worth the visit. But getting into the park was chaotic with form filling, queuing and some cars going through faster than others. Complete waste of 30 mins with no explanation.

Spectacular scenery. 1 kilometer walk on an up and down wooden boardwalk trail. Great views. Bridges are safe and well constructed. Avoid on a wet day. Slippery.

Even though the park wasn't officially closed, we were told at arrival that a lot of the walking paths would be closed while dangerous due to the rain and therefore maybe not worth to spend the entrance money. So we were disappointed we couldn't see...More

This is an adventure open to young and old. It's not a short walk by any means. Walking to and from the suspension bridges provides ample opportunities for views further up or to the ocean. There are some steep steps to walk down just before...More

We did the visit on a self drive holiday. Didn't see any guides but there were coach parties there so there may be some trips if you look around. If driving from Plettenberg Bay you will pay a toll fee on the main road... More
