I first heard of this location through Trip Advisor and it looked amazing. So when i came to South Africa i needed to visit here and experience it. I must say it was worth visiting, this was a mini adventure in a place reminiscent of a scene in Jurassic Park. A beautiful place to visit just for the views but... More

Beautiful views, if a bit overrated. Not worth it to come all this way just for this, but a nice visit if you are already in the area. It's a very short walk from the rest camp, worth it if you are already inside the park.

As we travelled along the Garden Route we stopped off at Storm River with a clear intention of walking along to the suspension bridges. It was a hot day, the sun shining, so it was a great relief that most of the walk was in the shade. Spectacular views of the coast and Storm river greeted us as we turned... More

Our last visit was 16 years ago, but we like to come back here. We enjoy the walk to the bridge and marvel at the beautiful forest and sea views. Only draw back: so many other tourists visit this spot, so it becomes quite crowded.

Stunning views of storms river and the surrounding Tsitisikamma national park. Make sure to take plenty of water and wear sunscreen as it warmed up to a very warm 26 degrees. Some of the later parts of the trek are very challenging but for the most part, (up to the crossing of the largest suspension bridge). We thoroughly enjoyed the... More

Up and down on a safe walkway to get to a steep descent to the bridge. If you are unfit, take time and take it easy. The bridge is sturdy and safe and gives you an opportunity to look up into the ravine / valley and out over the ocean. Something to remember

We were driving back to Knysna and planned to stop here since the views had been recommended. It is quite a drive to the Storm's River Park entrance from the N2 main road. When we arrived at about noon there was a long queue of cars and we waited about 15 minutes to get through after we paid the entrance... More

Brilliant View. Make sure you go up to the Lookout Point, its worth it. Be here early around 10 before all the buses are arriving.

We stopped here on the way to Mossel Bay from Port Elizabeth. It was a good halfway point, cost R200 for both of us and was approx 1hr trip. There are a lot of steps so if you struggle walking it's probably not for you. There are these cute little creatures at the start of the walk that look to... More

It is about 1 km beautiful walk from the parking to the suspension bridges, quite easy although many steps. You see several Rock Hyrax (dassies) in the beginning. As you go along breathtaking views. Magnificent to walk on the suspension bridge. This is a great part of Tsitstkamma reserve you should not miss.
