A real find. recommended by someone on Facebook and happy I went. Good exhibit, also an opportunity to get to grips with the history, both of Dynamite and Nobel and the South African past, Dutch, English, Boers and all. And its free!

Its one of those lovely surpriswes, and Modderfontein is the best for history in the whole of Joburg. Very interesting stuff when you dig!

The history of dynamite manufacture in South Africa, artefacts from the (still-working) factory, and displays about the people who made it all happen are crammed into the first Factory Manager's house. There's something for everyone.
