This huge monument is a place to visit if you are interested in South Africas's history. A number of exhibits on how the settlers lived is interesting, yet sometimes a bit tacky.

The Voortrekker Monument is a tribute to the Boers and the rich Afrikaner history. It has to be seen to appreciate what the Boers went through!
