A wonderful large pedestrianised square with many restaurants and shops in the square itself, and nearby in the Sandton Centre.

A few butcherys around, Trump is much more cheaper and complimentary wine. butchery's is also good but a bit of expensive. Not recommended walking alone outside of mall. Make sure you get the cab or hotel shuttle.

All sorts of shopping but food court had great curry and fish got both from different stands. it's also close to where you arrive or depart on the airport train with shuttle from hotel.

Visiting Joberg on business it's often hard to find places to just walk. Attached to Nelson Mandela Square is a large luxurious shopping centre. So if you need to do your 10,000 steps.... very good restaurants in the square.
