Very busy, lots of tourists but worth the stop and getting photos. Lots of quirky curios, cars, cacti, signage etc. A shop with food, snacks and souvenirs attached.

Charming, rustic collection of old cars, buildings, and other stuff give this a remote country store vibe.

Remains much as it might have been but only sells memorabilia. A reasonable selection but most made in China. Moon Shadow was singing outside with other... More

Stopped here to take pictures and ended up going into the store to look at the souvenirs. There are quite a few. Bought a Route 66 root beer and sat outside to enjoy it and take in the view.

The Hackberry store is world famous I guess and it should be with a busy stretch of Route66 in front of the store. It is a nice stop though with nice souvenirs and cool icecream, just when you need it!

What a great place to stop, stretch your legs and grab a drink! Great gifts and memorabilia inside and awesome photo opportunities outside. My only tip would be to come earlier in the day. When we drove past later in the day it was really busy there.

We drove right past this destination on Route 66. So glad we turned around and came back. The store and surrounding land are truly a step back in time and a nostalgic must-see. You get a sense first hand of how the interstates affected small businesses. Make sure you take lots of photos and buy a few souvenirs. My husband... More
