The Mohave museum is another one included in the entry fee of the Arizona route 66 museum (read that review). This one is focused on inhabiting the area and also on ranching and mining here. Apart from that, it has an interesting wall with all US presidents with their wives.

My wife and I love museums and enjoyed spending a couple of hours in this local museum. The was a variety of exhibits to interest just about everyone and they were generally well done.

The portraits of the presidents and their wives were very enjoyable to look at as we observed the changing dress and hairdos! It is a much larger museum than it appears at the entrance, and we wandered from exhibit to exhibit enjoying the history of mining in the Mohave area. There were historical implements of all kinds. We will go... More

This is included in the $4 admission for the 3 places of interest in Kingman. Go and see the place, there is much to learn. The wall of the former US presidents and their first ladies is worth looking at. It has an exhibit on ranching and mining. The Mojave history is also interesting. It is truly a museum of... More

This hometown (to me) museum is terrific! For a small building, it's well loaded-out w/ Rt 66/Kingman/Mohave County...seems like there's always something new to see (even for us locals)...Whenever family or friends visit, we take 'em to 'our museum'---friendly, knowledgeable staff is always at the ready to answer any questions one may have...A lot of interesting things to see &... This is the more organized and complete museum of the ones in Kingman. It is also a part of the three activity ticket. Good value. Not too large and an easy walk through.Info on the desert, route 66, the Dust Bowl and Steinbeck.

This was the first stop in a tour of museums in Kingman. One ticket gets you into 3 places..the house was closed but could use it later if wanted to.
