dirty and not much to see

You have a nice view to Downtown, but it is not that important to see, it was dirty and not really nice

Grew up in Durban and left over 10 years ago. Blue lagoon was such a legendary place to go. The vibe for locals used to be electric. Now a sad remains of that past. It is a pity that this has transpired

Good spot to relax and simply indulge in a bunny chow (local meal), or go cycling or walking. Very peaceful

Good for children and having a family meals. very scenic and relaxing to come cook some stuff potjie or braai favoured with the locals although there are nice restuarants in the vicinity as well as few street stalls with varied and decent fast food. The good stuff to look out for are fried samoosas, fried mealies/sweet corn , sour pickles... More

I can remember going here since I was like 4-5 years old, though I am sure I was taken here when I was an infant as well. This area has changed significantly over the past decade, and is still a very special... More

This is definitely the spot for friends and families to hang out and chill. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember, the vibe and atmosphere is always great. The place is great to have family functions or a braai with friends or even sit down at one of the restaurants and have a traditional bunny chow.... More

Blue Lagoon is a great spot in Durban where to walk and enjoy the sun. I think Blue Lagoon is a nice Lagoon where to stay with kids and friends. Furthermore close to this place there are a lot of bars and restaurants.
