Rainy day visit
Jan 2021 • Couples
Wow! What a surprise! Rustic barn atmosphere, sat here for hours, having roasted sweet patato and ginger soup for starters - enough as a main meal. Choice for dessert is difficult. Friendly and continuous service. Worth the visit - 11 to 4 only.

Delicious coffee

Amazing coffee, flavorful cheese cake, all set on a lush green farm beside a lake. A must visit. Popular destination so be sure to book beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Cheese Cake lovers Unite

The creamiest blueberry Cheese cake ever. The only problem is that you cannot take one for the road (so no take aways) and the place is always full as it is well known for its cheese cake and gourmet food. We enjoyed whatever was served. Their food is well presented and tasty. Phoning before you go is an advantage.

seasonal
Aug 2018
Here you can have an opportunity to pick up your own berry and take home, but only during its season. There are also yearly events which keep this place alive. Unfortunately all of these are seasonal and it operate only from wednesday upwards...in other words, it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. When it is not berry festive, people can stop by the farm to have a coffee in a nice restaurant that is found there.

Blueberry Bliss
Dec 2018 • Couples
What a wonderful surprise to discover this gem of a place in Magoebaskloof area. Had a lovely morning picking fresh organic blueberries and enjoyed a great open sandwich for lunch. Need to go back to try the famous blueberry cheesecake. Pity service was a bit slow, but the views, ambiance and generous food made up for this. Avid gardens can buy blueberry bushes here too.

Best breakfast in a long time
Nov 2018 • Friends
The menu is very different to the average restaurant, but all the food is fresh, with fresh herbs from the garden. Food was excellent and very tasty

Best meringue ever!
Aug 2018 • Couples
Visited back last year (we have been bad reviewers). Food was wholesome and beautifully cooked. But.... the blueberry meringue was to die For! Yes it's a personal thing, and others may opt for a different style of whipped whites, but for me, and I have travelled the globe sampling I will travel back from the UK just for the desert... (slight twist of the truth but it is definitely a factor)

We stopped in for breakfast in the rain. Lovely and warm in the miserable weather. Had great cheese cake. Decided to come back for dinner!

Magnificent Restaurant
Aug 2018
A great restaurant with a fresh non complicated menu. All items on the menu are made with fresh ingredients and they are spot on. The owner, James., moves around and offers with his staff great service. We ate there two nights in a row and both times the food was great. You have to try the blueberry cheesecake. Haven on earth.
