Sara park has great hiking and fantastic views of both Lake Havasu City and the lake. The hike to Lizard Leap is worth the effort. There is even a picnic table at the top.

A beautiful desert, easy hiking location. One section called Crack in the Wall is a bit more challenging and does require some climbing up and/or down. Definitely plan to take some water for you (and your dog), especially during the hot summer months if you...More

Sara park is medium difficulty. I would recommend wearing hiking shoes or boots. Take lots of water as the park is in the desert. We was walking sticks while hiking through the park. We hiked through serious crack and on down to the river. We...More

Sara Park is just to the south of Lake Havasu City off the 95. If you head south make a right at the first light after Basha's on the left. There's a parking lot with restrooms. The rocks and landscape are sensational with a craggy...More

I first hiked Sara’s crack. It was a great mix of easy hiking and moderate climbing through the crack. The blue trail was definitely my favorite. Awesome hike higher up on the ridge. Super fun. Also a great view of the lake at the end...More

My husband and I brought our mountain bikes with us on our recent trip to Havasu. The owner of the rental told us about SARA park and once we got used to the trails (very different from Phoenix) we really liked it. Well laid out,...More

The only way to get to SARA Park is to take Highway 95. You'll be going uphill at this point as well. Shoulder has lots of loose rocks and there's much truck traffic.
