God's window

Beautiful and nice walk into the forest area. Was a clear sunny day so we could see all the whole valley.

I so love to return here, to look down from the highveld into the B.R. and watch black eagles making lazy circles on the thermals up into the air. However you picture my homeland I can guarantee you Europeans won't be ready for this. It truly is a glimpse of heaven, beauty unbounded. Last month I sat, as I have... More

Just coming after viewing the spectafular Three Roundavels, God's window seemed overrated. But the rainforest walk next to it was beautiful.

Really always worth a visit. If they are going to charge an entry fee, fix the toilets ! I was embarassed to be a South AFrican. The route is well maintained and even though it was misty it created a whole new dimension. Rain forest always good for a walk through.

Scenic Iocation and beutifuk backdrop. Was expecting a bigger platform and more of a wow factor given the name. Climb the steps to the rain forest and there are better photos overlooking the valley. If you want a wow factor head to 3 rondawels (about 25km up the road) and see the Blyde River Canyon. That took my breath away.

Second visit in 21 years and still breath-taking! My youngest son went for the first time and was blown over by this place. The rain forest did not disappoint and the little corner named God's Window was awesome,. A definite re-visit is on the cards.

This view site is accessed after paying R10 per adult and R5 per child (under 12). It offers a glorious view over the plains from a high point. There is also a nice walk through the rainforest. Great for families and the walk is very easy. The coolness of the rainforest walk is lovely on a cool day. Given the... More

A must not miss sightseeing wonder. A short walk through the rain forest takes you to a platform where the rising mist offers glimpses of the valley below!

The views from here of the Great Escarpment are amazing and were well worth us returning to the area after our first visit was hampered by low cloud and some rain. The walk up into the rain forest is well worth it as there are more viewing points as well as the forest to look at.

Low cloud and visibility was only 50m up in the morning and the same down in the afternoon. We had to buy a postcard at Graskop!
