Famous view and worthwhile a drive. It's simply an amazing and superb view of the Blyde River Canyon. And when you're in the neighbourhood, visit the potholes, God's window, Lisbon falls and have lunch at the "Boskombuis". Great day guaranteed

Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondavels (massive grass covered circular shaped rocks). Relatively easy access and views you will be hard pressed to beat anywhere on the planet!

That view is a little bit of paradise! Nature in all it's magnificence! It really does do my head in though when the staff employed at one of the most spectacular spots in our country have clearly no love, passion or interest in the tourists they are serving, or their jobs really. There's a little grunt and a hand stretched... More

The views are fantastic - short hikes allow to enjoy the gorgeous panorama of the river and the mountains.

The views are nice. They charge you R20 for an adult and R10 for a child. They have really marketed nature to turn it into an industry. If you have been through the North Indian mountains, then these views pale in comparison. We have plenty of scenic spots in India and we don't have to pay to enjoy them. Plenty... More

From the Three Rondawels viewing point this is a sight not to be missed. The height above the valley looking across to the Rondawels and looking down into the valley bottom towards the dam is breathtaking. This canyon is the 3rd largest in the world, the most greenest and what a sight to behold it is.

You have the three roundavels on one side and the blyde river canyon on the other. And what this combination gives you is scenic beauty which is hardly matched by other spots in South Africa 🇿🇦. Great views and the river shines against the backdrop of the sun ☀️.

We went to the public viewpoint for the Three Roundavels. You can get a good sense of the vastness of the canyon, as well as get a appropriate angles on the Roudavels for pictures from here. The green canyon is quite unique and spectacular. The red rock sheer cliffs offer a wonderful contrast. We spent about 20 minutes here between... More

We loved the views of the canyon and we felt this was the best attraction on the panoramic route. It is a pity that there are no ''longer'' walks around the canyon (like at the Grand Canyon). If you don't want to pay for the view you can stop at a look-out at the panoramic route and enjoy the Blyde... More

Beautiful scenic and worth the trip. Nice market off African art manufactured by the local community.
