This place is great to learn about African Elephant, to see this amazing animal really close, to touch it and if you are brave enough to ride it (with a professional who know how to treat this massive animal)! Good experience!

We were amazed to see in what great condition the Elephants were. The staff of the Elephant sanctuary treated us business owners to a lovely afternoon. Their facilities are neat and the surroundings beautiful. They really do an amazing job with the Elephants.

One of the best things I did during my stay in S.A. The elephants are so amazing and the trainers clearly love them very much and treat them well. Didn't do the elephant ride as I don't support that but got to feed them and...More

Excellent experience. Two year old really loved it. Introduction maybe a bit long for young children to sit thru.

I love Elephants and this sanctuary was very good and looked after the animals very well. It was fascinating for me to see the difference between India and African elephants.

The name Elephant Sanctuary is very misleading and was not what I expected. The Elephant Sanctuary is another form of elephant tourism which I do not agree with. I was very upset to see elephant rides as I did not expect this and felt pressured...More

I am not an expert, and not sure what research you have done, but I think there is a distinction between Indian Elephants and African Elephants...the Indian Elephants are not suitable for riding, whereas the African Elephant... More
