A well organised boat trip. Despite the awkward wind the guide managed to get us a good view of Fish Eagles, many, many hippos. Crocs in the water and swimming. A well with trip with very good commentary.

We managed to book at Adventure for a two hour boat trip to see hippos, crocodiles and birds. We saw three families of hippos one a group of about thirty of all ages. No crocodiles but an African Sea Eagle and several other birds. A good value trip that we got onto at short notice.

hippos in abundance. water levels were too high for crocodiles, but we managed to see one. to find the right company for the boat trip is quite difficult and i cannot tell the difference. it is mostly about boat sizes and departure times

We learned so much from our guide that we were glad to have a note pad as well as cameras. The various hippo groups and their movements were fascinating. The birdlife was abundant. It was a wonderful experience being with a real naturalist.

We took a two hour game viewing cruise on a two tiered guided boat. We had been told that we might see Nile crocodiles, hippos, turtles and maybe even a shark but we only saw the hippos and many interesting birds. There were many groups of hippos and our boat would get close to them so we could see them... More

We did an early evening boat trip with excellent guides. They were entertaining and informative. We saw loads of hippos and interesting birds. Would definitely do it again.

I have been there numerous times and I am always fascinated by the guaranteed sightings of many hippos and the great probability of seeing crocodiles and fish eagles. Once I have even seen a cheetah. The "official" parks board boat is nice, but their tour guides who are supposed to give explanations about the wildlife there have deteriorated and leave... More

After Swaziland we came here for two nights and really wished we'd stayed longer. We went on the turtle trip and saw a leopard on the way there and baby turtles (hatchlings) making their way to the sea. We also went on a self drive on the west shore and a sunset boat trip on the estuary where we saw... More

There are lots of hippo, there is no way you can visit without seeing one. Take a nice cruise along the estuary with a guide who can get up close to them.

Off the beaten path, but well worth a visit. We didn't see any big cats, but lots of hippos! The night safari was not worth the money, but it was still a lot of fun.
