The drive takes one around the Western part of the peninsula, and offers dramatic scenery. There are numerous areas where one can pull over to enjoy the view. It is a good way to incorporate a trip to Cape Point, and should be considered a must see.

We went to the Cape one way and returned via Chapman's Peak. This is a superb drive with fantastic views of the sea.

Not for the fainthearted. A spectacular drive with many viewpoints and places to stop and just take in the scenery. Chapman's Peak itself is an interesting place to stop.

Can't understand what everyone is on about here. There are equally lovely, if not better stretches of coastline for free. This is over-hyped. Okay, one stretch is pretty good but we were surprised to get to the end as we kept wondering when we would get to the good bit!

This is a toll road (you can pay cash or by card) and it's worth the toll for the views - it's SPECTACULAR !

This is an must see, when visiting Cape Town. It is an nice drive, but you need to take it slow and relax. The views are spectacular and there are several parking spaces/areas for photo's.

We visited the area during the first week of October 2016. This is a toll road that costs 42 ZAR and resembles route 1 in California. A road along a cliff overlooking the Ocean with spectacular views - enjoy!

What an incredible experience. This has to be one of the most scenic drives in the Cape. This has been a true goosebump experience!!! From start to finish and one can drive it in any car you like! There are a million view points along the way so don't drive too fast!!! Crazy, wonderful, high and stunning all in one!!!!
