A very attractive beach, with white sand and azure water. The setting is awesome. While the sea is cold, it is great for sunbathing, walking and other leisure activities. There are numerous cafes and restaurants, some quite upmarket, just across the road from the beach.

I love this beach, however like most beaches in capetown, it’s freezing in the water, but this is a great place to relax as there are plenty of restaurants and shops to check out.

Great beach to watch the sunset and put down some drinks on one of the many patio bars and restaurants. Great atmosphere and view of the 12 apostles. The sand is nice and white and the water looks inviting on a hot day but there...More

Great place for family. kids can freely play, build sand castles or walk. The mountains overlooking the beach are a rare beauty. The water is extremely freezing though and needs the really brave to swim in. A great place to just relax. However, the vendors...More

Never seen a beach so glisteningly stunning. This time of year not may people about so you can enjoy, must be pretty busy in the summer. You definitely don’t want to be swimming in the sea though! Cold and rough. Beware of the beach sellers...More

Being from England, I thought I knew what cold water was...my god, even the sand just before the sea was freezing. Never experienced anything like it. The beach itself is great, very spacious, plenty of restaurants nearby and of course stunning views of table mountain...More

Sorry, I just now read your question. Can‘t really say about the restaurant, since it all depends on what you like. We ate a lot of fish in a couple of Restaurants there, which was really good. Unfortunably I don‘t remember... More

From the cruise terminal, you will be right in the V&A area. Basically, once you get onto Main Rd heading Southwest, you follow it through Seapoint, onto Victoria Rd and that will bright you right into Camp's Bay.
