We ate salads and a bottle of wine one night for a light supper after a very hectic day of touring, and Planet Bar was perfect. The setting was quiet, elegant and romantic (we loved the starry, sparkly ceiling and view of the garden); the...More

Very aware that this is a five star property and did not expect things to be value for money at all but I was quite surprised. Paid R50 for a can of Grapetiser and R100 for a bottle of CBC Amber Weiss seems a bit...More

Visited with friends on a Thursday night for a brief post dinner drink. Serve an excellent Negroni and very nice complimentary nibbles in an interesting setting (extremely upmarket decor) without service being too stiff.

I am not sure why we go back to The Planet Bar, it's just medicore. There is absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever and even though its December it's just plain boring.
