lovely place to learn surfing. the water is warmer than in Bloubergstrand. plenty of space and good waves for everybody

When we were here the weather was getting dark and rainy , while the wind was picking up. So, to appreciate the beach, better weather is required.

Cute little beach town but it was so windy we couldnt stay outside for more than a few minutes. The sand was literally blowing sideways! Fun place to watch the surfers and get some great pics of the colorful beach houses.
Some excellent places to have coffee overlooking the sea watching all the surfers do their bit! Quite an interesting place and quirky shops.
My friends and I visited this beach on a Sunday afternoon, it was risiculously busy. I would suggest you try get there either in the morning or during the week when most locals are at work or school. However, it is still a beautiful beach...More
