Make sure you visit on a day when there are no protests to the Provincial Offices or Parliament as the are round here is very popular for marches and demonstrations. Check up... More

This is one of Cape Town's most renowned sites - coming to Cape Town and not visiting/seeing SGC is like going to visit Paris and not going to Notre Dames ... the Cathedral is reflective of the city's very open history and inclusivity and gives the added spiritual side.

St George's Catherdral is a beautiful cathedral with the only statue of an african madonna in SA. There is also a jazz club called The Crypt which should not be missed.

Beautiful church in downtown is a great place to visit and near by other sites such as Company Gardens and Long St. Beautiful stained glass and religious artwork inside makes this a great place to stop by. It's free to visit so definitely check it out.

This is the church where Desmond Tutu preaches on Friday mornings if his health allows it. When we were there he had not been there for a month. But it is a beautiful and historic church.

Came across by accident and so pleased I did, considering it is not an old building (victorian/edwardian0 it has some stunning stained glass and is a pleasant place to sit and gather your thoughts. The guide was very helpful. If yo do visit do make a small contribution to the roof fund which is an ongoing exercise
