Clifton has the most wind protected beaches in Cape Town. The setting is breathtaking because of the 12 apostle mountains background. Cape Towns 'beautiful people' got to Clifton so plenty of glamour. The water is freezing most days but in peak summer it's so hot...More

Absolutely the most beautiful beaches - hectic in season. Lovely walk from the road down to the beaches through the gourgeous beach 'bungalows'. Believe me there is nothing bunged up at low cost about these places.

All 4 beaches at Clifton are gorgeous and well worth visiting at least one of them, weather permitting. Plenty of shops, restaurants etc around.

Clifton Beaches <3 with sand so hot it could melt your feet and water so cold it can freeze your ankles. Besides the cold and the heat, the water is a beautiful frozen blie and the sand and beautiful glimmering white. Amazing place

I loved the ocean view and the beautiful long beaches. I am planning to go back and stay at this area specifically. There are 4 Clifton beaches in total.

The Clifton beaches are gorgeous with their beautiful white sand. Lots of tourists. Many places to eat, but parking is a problem. We were told ahead of time that the water was freezing so didn't even try to go in. Worth a visit.
