Less than 10 minutes to the CBD and the sea. Has the only world rated university in Africa and over 20 good schools. Lots of parks and a great Forrest and mountain. It is a more than adequate suburb to live in

Rondesbosch, Newlands, Claremont, Pinelands, Rosebank...one can go on...but these small enclaves have lovely houses and also individual village like shopping centres...of course Claremont houses a huge mall, but the surrounding streets hide much good architecture...worth a visit and if you are lucky enough to live...More

hi there, have tickets for the test and T20. wondering about best tactics getting to newlands cricket stadium OR parking there. have NEVER been to cricket match in my life. these are a suprise for my husband who´s a fan. is it a BIG problem to park near the grounds? or book a driver? on the 6th jan (test) we can stay in either franschhoek or simon´s town. for the 18:00 T20 we´ll definitely be in simon´s town. thx any help /advice very much appreciated.
