A fantastic way to see the mountain and the surrounding areas. The trail is broken up into sections and some are tougher than others - like the hike up the back of Table Mountain but it is SO worth it.

Did a 3 day walking trail - absolutely amazing. Luxurious accommodation - you don't even carry your own bag - they cook for you and plenty surprises on top of Table Mountain. Book well in advance

This is an amazing 5 day trail. It's a tough hike +/- 75km and we recorded over 5km of climbing on our GPS (we walked from Cape Point to the Cable Car, though you can do it the other way). The views and fauna are...More

The views are superb- nature abounds, sea views, indigenous plantlife and more. The guides are helpful and kind. The accommodation was clean, although the weather can make the tents quite chilly!

We did the Orange Kloof section of the Hoerikwaggo Trail for my birthday, and it was absolutely amazing. The quality of the guiding was excellent, and the vistas were breathtaking throughout the hike. The camp at Orange Kloof is stunning with beautiful views all around...More

There are great trail walks up and around the mt. You can start from Kirstenbosch gardens, or Constantia neck.

Incredible. The scenery of this area defies belief, an incredible combination of unique and spectacular mountains, and ludicrously blue sea. Couple the Fynbos Floral Kingdom to this, and it's a world-must-do. Astonishing.

Is it possible to do the trail in 4 days (3 nights)? My boyfriend and I are going to CT in a week and would like to do Hoerikwaggo trail but as Silvermine camp site is still closed, I'm not sure if it's possible to do the hike in 4 days... I was thinking about staying in Smitswinkel, Slangkop and Orangekloof camp sites.

I'm a student from Belgium and for a project we're planning a trip in South Africa that includes the Hoerikwaggo Trail.. But I can't find the price you have to pay for this. I was hoping someone could help me here and give me more details about the cost. It's about the trip of five days.
