Everything was very average - nothing more to be said really - course was average (worst one we have experienced whilst in South Africa) service was average so all in all average!

Have played here many times and every time we visit Knysna. Only 8 buggies available but many pull trolleys. Caddies are outstanding and very helpful. Course is well maintained and a fair test!

We play as often as we can on this course, it is challenging in parts but does have some wide forgiving fairways. Staff are courteous and helpful. The course is very busy and the starter is keen to send off groups of four ball players. It can be slow because of the sheer number of players each day and we... More

We played here walked round. Not a long or hilly course so buggies are not really necessary. Lots of water to avoid on the course but some very pretty holes not too challenging. Worth a round of golf here.

AT first glance, you may think this course is a walkover, but once you get playing a different story unfolds. Having said that it is it is playable by beginners as well as seasoned golfers. We have played this course a few times and have enjoyed it each time. So I can highly recommend a round of golf at the... More

We played all of the golf courses in this area and Knysna was our favourite. It's not the best manicured but it is a very good course. Lots of water! A well managed golf course with a lovely clubhouse. The staff were very helpful and the caddies were very good. Thoroughly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day out from travelling at this friendly golf club, whilst not being the most challenging course it certainly has enough features and interest to make this a very good day it. A very good holiday course and at half the price of some others in the area.

So let's be absolutely clear, Knysna GC isn't trying to compete with Pezula and Simola. It's a private members club without the mega money to make it a resort course. What it lacks in financial backing, it more than makes up for in it's charm, homely feel and stunning almost water level backdrop. The course is a good test for... More
