Though damaged through shortsighted tourism schemes in the 1960s, these caves are still worth a visit for their eerie dark tunnels and stunning limestone formations.

Great staff, great guide. Still as wonderful a sight as I remember from being a child. Toilets are not nice.

Did the heritage tour. There is an adventure tour but it involves some very narrow gaps and crawling. Magnificent caves with a very informative guide. However you have to book ahead.

I like caves, their natural architecture and climbing through caves, so the Cango Caves had a head start for me. There are two tours, one taking you into the first chambers and gentle walking and the second a bit more challenging. They make a bit...More

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour through the Congo Caves. Our tour guide, Johnny, was awesome and made the tour a lot of fun. The caves are well maintained and something to see. Really worth a visit!

Beautiful caves. Amazing guides. Just wish there could have been more of an adventure. It was great but after going through about 3 or 4 tight gaps and retracing your steps it's done. Not the same adventure I had when I was a kid.

Not too expensive, good value, and the size of the cave is enormous. Tour guide dragged a little. Got there at 4 for last tour, so lucked out and no wait.

There are two tours to choose from. The basic tour is very accessible, but you need sensible footwear. The adventure tour is for fit agile, possibly experienced, cavers. It's a fantastic cave with excellent guide.

It all depends which tour you take. I took the standard tour which lasts an hour. If you want to go deeper into the caves and crawl around then those take up to 3 or 4 hours. There is a short film which you can watch before... More
