In spite of spending a lot of time in the Western Cape for some decades, we have only this week discovered the delightful botanical gardens in the centre of Stellenbosch. My wife & I go there to get some quiet time, talk , relax , learn and gave a meal. If you are stressed out- need time with your partner or simply private me time-this is a great place. Enjoy!!

Loved the lily pond. This is a peaceful, shaded spot to sit and rest in the centre of town. Nice cafe.

The botanical garden is free entry, such well kept gardens with lots of private places to sit and read. Coffee shop has nice cakes. Visited it several times over the years, always in awe of the gift to be able to see how nature is preserved.

We loved the botanical setting in the middle of town. The tea and carrot cake was just what we needed after a whole day of site seeing in this beautiful little town! It is a stunning little garden. Well worth the visit.

I was pleasantly surprised. This haven in the centre of Stellenbosch can easily be missed. A walk through the gardens is free and promises peace and a freed mind.

A beautiful and well maintained garden, with a great shop and selection of succulents and plants available for sale. This is the perfect place to relax in nature, any time of year.
