It is a lovely hike to the two waterfalls--there are many more routes and this one I chose as I had only a couple of hours to spend. It's an one-hour hike to the second waterfall, half an one to the first one. Please bring...More

The reserve is beautiful and offers excellent hiking trails. Fresh mountain water along the way to drink. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Four hiking routes to choose from. And it is safe to hike inside the reserve. Entrance fee is R40 per person.

Wonderful reserve close to town, but feels like a really remote mountain valley. Walking, driving, jogging, biking all possible and a lovely cafe at the gate to recover!

Had an early morning hike in this beautiful reserve. The views were spectacular! The first section of the hike to the first waterfall was relatively easy the extended strip to the second waterfall was far tougher though. The second waterfall is however worth the more...More

My favorite place to trail run, mountain bike, picnic, hike and swim in the river. Every season brings its own beauty and my children love it!

I've been there a number of times but never encountered this - might be an issue around holidays I suppose. But people arrive and leave all the time anyway.
