Great way to explore winelands

Great activity to explore the beautiful Spier Winefarm just outside Stellenbosch. Great guides and a cool activity for teenagers and their parents!

Booked into Spier for one night only as part of our honeymoon, doing the Garden Route. If I were giving advice to others, I would definitely suggest a stay of more than one night, as there is loads to do and we had trouble fitting everything in. Segway was a clear highlight - a really fun way of seeing the... More

We had a day at Spier as our team year end function and the Segway Tour was one of the events the staff were able to participate in. Everyone had great fun learning how to use them and doing the vineyard tour. It was probably the highlight of the day. The guides were friendly and made sure that everyone knew... More

Did the 2 hour tour and really enjoyed the spectacular scenery and riding the Segways off road was a great experience. If you are looking for a detailed tour of a vineyard this isn't for you, but if you have a sense of fun and adventure then the Segway tour is! We loved the close encounter with the chickens.

The experience is incredible, if you have never done it, you must try it here, as the scenery is magnificent. The guide was silent for the most of the trip, and our 2 hour trip has finished half an hour earlier as a result... wanted to hear something about the winery, local flora, history, but there was none. Hence mixed... More

I did the hour long Spier Segway tour. I regret not doing the two hour tour!!!!! Our tour guide Q was fantastic. Spier is beautiful so it was wonderful to ride around the vineyard.

What a great day it was. Something really unusual to drive through the vineyards on a Segway. The staff very professional and friendly

This is a great way to spend two hours taking in the wonderful SA scenery. The guides were incredibly helpful and the segways were fairly straightforward to use once you'd spent a few minutes practising so all in all great experience.

This is really worth doing. Loved the Segway and riding through Spier was such fun. Highlight had to be visiting the chickens. Having about 50 chickens running to greet you, picking them up and stroking them... the cherry on top of a great afternoon's entertainment.

Fun! Fun! Fun!. The guides were experienced and they took the time to make sure that we could handle the Segway before starting the tour. My family and I had an absolutely fantastic time and created a wonderful memory. Not just for the young - my husband is in his fifties and I am not far behind.
