We went to the market almost every Saturday. Few exceptions. Today was the most disgusting day ever. What was usual a stunning day out. Music that all the people at the market enjoy and were singing along as you walk through the stalls made the day even more special. Then today? What a bunch of RUBBISH. The normal stunning music... Hello Hennie, Thank you for taking the time to post your opinions and to give us the feedback online as you promised to " take us to the press" . I now have more information to respond from. You made your feelings very clear (by your shouting and swearing) on the past Saturday that you where upset and although we... More

We enjoyed the walk around this scenic market. There was some nice sushi and the most incredible gluten free brownies, not that the first part matters. Kroketten were a disappointment.

Wide variety of foods and crafts produced by local farmers and artisans. Every type of food from braai to vegan to sushi! The stall-holders are also very friendly and enjoy explaining the background to their products. This is my 'must-do' when I'm in the Cape area visiting my family.

This market opens at 9 am so I recommend going at the start and having your breakfast there before the crowds build up. Easy to find and ample parking in the shade under the trees. Maybe have a quick wander round first then settle down to breakfast from one of the stalls, there is plenty of choice of different foods... More

You don't know where to go on Saturday morning ?? Spend few hours with local people ,eat local prepared food, buy home made bread, cheese, jam, salami or some crafts. Don't just walking around with your camera because this is not a Tourist attraction but local Saturday market.

As I live to eat, any food market in Cape Town is on my to-do-list. The Slow Market is beautifully located in among the vineyards with ample parking. Make sure you get there early to avoid the crowds and the heat. The market is well balanced with a selection of beautifully crafted clothing, jewelry, art work, handbags and soft home... More

This is a trendy viby market, the food is always amazing, with a huge selection to choose from. If there is a down side it is that the items for sale tend to be a little pricy for fleet market goods in the summer moths then drop off again in winter.
