If you visit Buenos Aires, you have to go to Lo de Joaquin Alberdi. I do not write reviews for places ever, but I feel so strongly about this place that I had to! My friend and I had been talking about going to a nice wine bar to sample different wines, but once I found this vinoteca, I knew... More

We booked a last minute private wine tasting here and we were so glad we did! The store was intimate and lovely. Bautiste was our sommelier and was incredibly knowledgeable about all the wines. Joaquin, the owner, is incredibly entertaining and gave us tastes of things even before we started. The tasting was in english and there were 6 of... More

We happened to walk past this bar one afternoon at around 1pm and thought we would pop in to see what wines they had from the local Argentinian area.... We left this place at around 9pm!!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted personally by the owner who immediately took it upon himself to show off some of... More

We were staying in Palermo Hollywood and walked to this store form our Hotel clasico. Unfortunately, we could not spend a lot of time here due to Tango reservations. I had asked the hotel repeatedly about a good wine tasting place and they kept sending me to a bar. This place was great and though we couldn't sign up for... More

We booked a last minute appointment for a wine tasting. It was a comfortable and relaxed learning experience. The host, Baptiste, was warm and knowledgeable and thought about the wines we would like. The wines and cheeses were amazing! The perfect way to spend our last evening in Buenos Aires. We would love to do it again!

We absolutely love this place and have returned numerous times in our 1 month in Buenos Aires. Joaquin is hilarious and very friendly and Everyone who works here is super knowledgable and friendly (with good English). Come here, drink wine and meet cool people in a beautiful old buildings. This is what Buenos Aires is all about.

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
