We arranged a tour last minute, and BuenosTours was very flexible and accommodating to our needs. The whole process to arrange the tour was simple and straightforward, and the folks at BT were super-responsive to my emails. Our tour guide Don was pleasant and very informative and was flexible in moving at the pace we wanted in the locations we... More

My wife and I had a private tour with Jessica and my wife (a native Argentine) even said she walked away with a deeper and richer understanding of the city. It's nice to walk around with a person and not a whole group. We stood on corners and talked and we just didn't feel geeky or obtrusive like one can... More

My wife and son age 21 took this tour yesterday. We were picked up at our apartment by our tour guide Ceri. Extremely knowledgeable about architecture and history plus was conveyed to us the nature of the people of BA and how to interact with them. Highly recommended.

Our tour of La Boca and San Telmo with Jack was excellent. Finished our walking tour with him telling us he would email recommended restaurants in our area and we only needed to email if we wanted any more information or ask about anything we'd forgotten. Sure enough we got the email from him and from the tour company still... More

Before leaving the states booked a half day tour of La Boca and San Telmo for the afternoon of our arrival (we landed at 9 am). So glad we did! Don met us on time in the lobby of our hotel. He was professional yet casual and very friendly. Spoke both excellent English and Spanish. As we had just landed... More

Jack gave my wife and I a great private tour of the San Telmo and La Boca neighborhoods. I think he did a great job at figuring out what most interested us and pointing out things along those lines in addition to getting us to the most interesting features of both neighborhoods. This company is great with communication and expectation... More

We did three tours with Oliver: the city center, Recoleta, and La Boca/San Telmo. We learned a lot on all three. Oliver is knowledgeable, speaks fluent English, and is fun to hang out with as he shows you around the city. I've done the big tour group things before, and trust me, the personalized tour is worth the money. We... More

From the moment Ceri met us at our hotel we knew that we were in for a treat! He was personable, knowledgable, funny, and read our group immediately, as to the various personalities he would be dealing with for the day!! As we had already had a brief tour of Buenos Aires the previous day, he went out of his... More

We're a young family with a 2.5 year old. We decided to book the private tour to be at our own pace. We booked the trip a week before visiting BA. The response from the team was immediate. We've had tons of questions and ideas to be as efficient as possible and cover as much ground. The BT team was... More

Communication with Buenos Tours was excellent and made the whole process of booking our tours so easy. But it was Ceri, our guide for two tours, who was the star. I cannot praise him highly enough. His exuberance and knowledge of the city were extraordinary. Everywhere we went he seemed to know someone - the Belgian man in the courtyard,... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
