We booked a private full day walking tour at the end of our 2 week South American cruise. Alan met us at the pier with a taxi and took us all over the city, by foot, subway & taxi. Can't really choose a favorite part as the whole experience was so rich & diverse. You could spend days just at... More

Our tour guide Jessica was amazing - she knew everything about the Perons, and she was able to get us to see the best sights. She was also friendly, efficient, and helpful. I would highly recommend her for your tours in BA.

My wife and I scheduled three half day walking tours with Buenos Tours during our 5 days in Buenos Aires. We enjoyed our guide Jennifer very much. She gave us detailed background on the history of the various neighborhoods but more importantly she introduced us to special places we would probably not have found on our own. The pace was... We had one day on a cruise ship stop to be in Buenos Aires, and arranged a private tour with Buenos Tours. Jack, our guide, was a young American who had been raised in a diplomat's family. He was a delight, taking us all over the city and explaining the history, the neighborhoods and why he loved this city so... More

Very easy and simple to book from the UK via the internet. A fantastic day tour, seeing all the major sites (and more) that we had requested to see. Our guide, Jack, met us at our hotel and was a great guy, who is very knowledgable about the City and it's history, The tour gave us a good insight and... More

We enjoyed a 7 hour private walking tour of the main sights of BA. Our guide Jack was great - very knowledgeable, fun, relaxed and keen to ensure we did what we wanted to too (sorry for dragging you around a few shops, Jack!). I really recommend this tour to help orientate yourself in the City and get a feel... More

My husband and daughter are very into photography, I have a 'point and shoot'. Richard met us at our hotel, right on time. He gave us a few options, and we immediately hit it off. He's very personable, and a great conversationalist. We took a city bus to San Telmo and Monsserat, 'off the beaten path', per our request. We... More

My wife and I had a walking tour with Richard on Tuesday 31 January. It was super. He is very knowledgeable and personable. We not only saw the sights, but learned a lot about life in Buenos Aires too. While we just met him, the relationship felt like he was a good friend showing us his city.

All through the planning the communications with Buenos Tours was excellent. The staff are friendly, very detail oriented, and provided valuable suggestions. My husband and I were really impressed with the customized full day tour of Buenos Aires conducted by our guide, Don. Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
