On our previous visit to Buenos Aires 5 years ago we took two half day walking tours with this company, so it was a joy to see that they were still going strong, and we booked a full day walking tour without hesitation. Our guide for the day was Ceri, who turned up at our hotel bang on time, and... More

The walking tour with Don was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable and full of interesting information. His love of the city was clear. It was a pleasure spending the day with him.The tour was the best way to become familiar with the city for later touring on our own. We also really appreciated having an English speaking guide. Thank you... More

It was a wonderful day touring the city with Oliver. He combined a nice combination of history and culture with personal anecdotes throughout the tour. He was flexible with the itinerary as there was a massive demonstration during our tour, but even that added to the experience! I liked getting around on the public transit in order to get more... We had <24 hrs and wanted to take a walking tour of the highlights of Buenos Aires. Buenos Tours responded within 30 min and organized us to meet up with Ceri. Ceri was excellent and by careful questioning determined what my friend's and I wanted to do. He put together a great, informative tour for us. From the quick response... More

After doing much internet research, I sought out BuenosTours. It exceeded my expectations, in a major way. -- I travel throughout the world, and always seek to invest in one high-quality guided tour. I've done about a dozen. Without a doubt, my guide at BuenosTours Don was the best. He is sophisticated intellectual. Yet, he is as down to earth... More

The pace was set by us and even after walking 3.5 hours we were good. The break at a local coffee house was well timed and... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
