We were so looking forward to this tour as had heard such great things. The museum was fairly impressive in its layout but it was the tour we came for. Unfortunately our guide did not speak English that well and because we were only x4 (husband and x2 kids aged 9 & 12) with a majority of Spanish speaking people... More

Came here to check out a stadium I had heard so much about over the year. For 180 pesos, you get a stadium tour and to see the museum. The latter is better than Boca Juniors' in terms of quantity of items, although the tunnel layout was peculiar. Our guide Patricio made time to talk us through the preceding stadium... More

One of the top football clubs in the world and a very famous stadium. The final of the World Cup was held here in 1978 so history abounds! You can get a grand tour of the stadium and a pitchside view. Museum is brilliant, great videos of yesteryear and fantastic memorabilia including trophies and some fantastic shirts. River Plate are... More

A very small museum but a good one for the lovers of soccer. At the end of your visit you are also able to visit the River Plate official store and buy yourself a shirt

The museum is okay, but for only a few more pesos you can buy a ticket to visit the locker room and walk on the field. It is about a 45 minute tour that is amazing to experience. Not as good as Boca, but cool for any futbol fan.

My husband and I visited River Plate stadium and museum in Buenos Aires. If you a soccer fan, you will have a time of your life being shown around by the guide. Full history and all trophies won are on display at the museum. We were able to sit in the VIP and Press box. my husband was in his... More

The museum and stadium tour were awesome. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Buenos Aires. Both football and non-football fans will enjoy.

Beside the Stadium of soccer team River Plate, you can enjoy the River Museum when there is no matches or music shows. There, you can have the chance to pass through the history of one of the 2 most popular soccer teams in Argentina. From the beginnings till our days, you may get in touch with most of the popular... This part I loved! Seeing the past make only want to look at the future and the great things that will come. Everything is spotless! Well organized and well taken care of.

Staying in Belgrano

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgrano
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where colour and scent emanate from every corner, particularly during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.
