We didn't really know when to start when picking a tango show in BA - you really are spoilt for choice - so we took the recommendation from the staff at our hotel and I'm glad we did. The whole experience was very smooth. We were picked up and dropped off in a nice modern minibus. Food was brought over... More

Very beautiful room from 1920s. Service was fast but choose carefully from menu and stick with steak. Ravioli was awful dessert wasn't bad. All wine or beer you can drink. Small room so good views of tango show. Long show which starts at 10pm after dinner nice costumes. Talented tango dancers and singers

Someone advised to skip the dinner here, have dinner somewhere else and come here just for the show, which we did. All tables have a good view of the stage. We were served a glass of cheap red wine, included in the deal (San Felipe, best avoided) and water. The show itself is phenomenal, with a live band seated above... More

To go to a tango show while visiting Buenos Aires is an absolute MUST. Finding a suitable one is not that easy since they are mostly over commercialised and tour bus tourism oriented. I thought that Cafe de los Angelitos would be an exception and sadly it was NOT. The " mise en scene ",the art deco building, costumes and above... More

Will probably upset many here... by saying Tango is not my thing. Flamenco on the other hand... anyhoo, I consider this evening as payback for dragging my lovely other half out the the FormulaE race earlier in the day. I had no problem with the food (chicken) or the company of those around us (a couple from the US and... More

The tango show was great. The dinner quality was only fair. It could be we had so many great food in other famous restaurants. We found the food quality was just medium. The service was medium as the waiters were busy serving lots of tables. I would recommend you go for only the tango show that starts at 10:15pm and... More

We booked this evening in advance wanting to see some tango dancing. We were a bit concerned about a tourist trap, but it was quite the opposite. The show went through several decades of tango from the beginning, with great music, dancing, singing and costumes. The cast did an amazing job with legwork we couldn't even follow. The dinner beforehand... More

Our hotel arranged the trip, which included transfers, food and wine. Transfers OK but we are used to making our own way and would have probably been better doing this. The food was good, although the portions were huge. Would have preferred to buy a bottle of wine and choose but can understand that they were trying to feed large... More

My husband and I booked this tango show as part of a Viator tour offering (which also included a Tigre Delta cruise and city bus tour). We had great seats for the show (fairly close and off to the side of the stage). The dinner beforehand was great, better than expected for this type of dinner - show combo. The... More
