A cute statue that bears a striking resemblance to Lucy in Peanuts. An Argentine comic character that has little meaning to an American.

There are several characters from Mafalda on the street corner, but you need patience to take a picture, as many people are normally in a line looking for the perfect snap.

No lines at the Mafalda in La Boca! She's sitting on the bench near Paseo Internacional at the northwest corner of Dr. del Valle Iberlucea and Gral. Gregorio Aráoz de Lamadrid.

Mafalda is really popular locally and there was a huge queue of people lining up just to have a photo with this small statue.

There was a line of about ~5/10 minutes to take a picture with the statue. If you're passing by the market (which you totally should!) worth it to come and take the picture!

It's worth going to San Telmo to take the picture. You'd be surprised. Many people wait in line to take a picture with her so try to go early in the morning. There's other characters in the neighboring streets.

Just next to were Quino, her creator, lived, there is the now famous Mafalda statue. Now Miguelito and Susanita are there so you can have a picture with the witty cartoon and her friends.

As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires,

You can find Mafalda Souvenirs in almost every shop in Buenos Aires. Just in front of Mafalda s statute, on the sidewalk you'll find at least 3 different shops
