When in Buenos Aires it is mandatory to see a tango show. We chose a cruise ship tour that included lunch and an afternoon tango show at La Ventana Tango Club. The theater is located downstairs and seats around 300 people. The hall is decorated...More

We visited La Ventana with friends who were on their first visit to Buenos Aires and wanted to take in a tango show but not get roped into dancing Tango! The evening includes a pleasant enough three course dinner but it’s not fine dining. However...More

I had high expectations. Experience was excellent. It was really a variety show including 3 sets of superb tango dancers. Entertainment was first rate but dinner was disappointing. I would just do show.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this tour for dinner and tango show. We paid $80 per person. A van picked us up and took us to the Restaurant. The restaurant was nice. We had empanada, New York strip steak and flan - it was...More

We were truly wowed by this performance and loved every minute. The orchestra was wonderful, especially the violinist who performed a very emotional solo. In addition to fantastic tango performances, this show also has performances of traditional rural music and and a beautiful tribute to...More

Lovely evening. Enjoyed the show. Very talented performers. Dancers, orchestra and singers. Dinner and were great too. And I love how they pair you with strangers on your table, with whom you end up, jiving well!!!

The show itself, which is what we came for, was astounding in its variety, energy and and excellence. There are just some great individual performances, not all tango. So we had to get over the weird bus ride and the officious front desk people--why should...More

Not absolutely sure that this would be my thing but have to admit it was great. The buses to these types of events can be frustrating as the pick up time given is usually for the first pick up but as we were the first...More

Wonderful performances of tango dancing and live band, gaucho show, and folk music. We did not take the bus there as we were already in the neighborhood but the ride back was convenient. The show was recommended by both another tour guide and Tangol tourist...More

The organisation of this event puts you in a foul mood before even sitting down. For some reason - all about them getting bums on seats to suit them, we deduced - we had to get on a bus to be taken there. The bus...More

La Ventana is ok and more economical. Most tables are far from the small stage. Upstairs you will find Gala Tango which is slightly more expensive but the show is much better and the food as well. Stage is larger and all... More
