This is an oasis in the middle of the craziness of Florida street that is hot, chaotic and overcrowded by locals and tourists. When entering the Galeria you enter in a different time zone. This beautiful space was created for rich people to mingle. It is definitely too crowded with stalls in the middle but you can still imagine what... More

Elegant old building. The cupola view is decent as you can see from everyone's photos. Price now 50 pesos and as the space is tiny and the staircase is tiny, there are visiting time slots. See posted photo of information sign.

This gallery joins 4 streets and has many entry points, the shops are nice and less expensive than those on adjacent Calle Florida. The 2 cupolas and the decorations in brass above the elevators are lovely. The highlight is the ride up to the 14th Floor and then the climb up the spiral staircase to the 16th floor and the... For photographers, the view is just ok. Nothing especial. the entrance is 40 pesos, and you have to check which days they are open.

We happened upon this amazing spot. We originally walked past the entrance. When you go in there are stores but that is not the draw to the place. It is the view from the 16th floor. Take the elevator to the 14th floor then you need to buy a ticket for 40 pecos, then you will climb two flights of... More

I tried twice to visit the top of Galeria Guemes and came away disappointed both times because it was closed. The Sunday I should have expected, but going back on a Tuesday I was dismayed to see it was closed from noon to three. Loved the interior and elevator.

This rather small Galleria gets missed with the subtle entry off Florida. They would do well to not crowd it with shopping in the center but the architectures is awesome. Not to be missed (south part off Florida)

A great place to see the roofs and copulas of Buenos Aires. Ideal for photographers. Easy access and not expensive.

The view over the 14 floor is poor. You are gonna have to climb more than 30 stair treads after you take the elevator and you are not gonna see much because it's not so high and the smell is terrible over there because of the restaurant chimneys !

The gallery is outstanding on the inside. The elevators are awesome and once you get to the top of the building you can see one of the best views in the city. The lady in charge of the visit knows a lot about the history of the place. Really worth a visit.
